The Science of Cinema: How We Create Your Frome

At Frome, we don't just print posters; we deconstruct films frame-by-frame to capture their visual essence. Here is the technical process behind every movie barcode and movie palette we create.

How a film becomes a Frome: every frame of a movie is reduced to its average colour, each colour becomes a thin stripe, and the stripes are lined up start to finish to create a movie barcode printed on canvas, phone cases and woven blankets
